When I first met Katy, like any bride she was overwhelmed by the choices, options and cost of a wedding. I loved talking to her and Patrick and figuring out what they love in life so we could build a dream day for them that expressed their love for each other and what they love together.
Some of those things were reading, tea, sweets, simplicity, family, bright colours and wine.
Katy & Patrick got married on a gorgeous sunny day in September. The ceremony took place at the Chapel of Epiphany at UBC and the reception was held at the False Creek Community Centre on Granville Island. All photos were taken by the amazing Stefanie from Stefanie de Best Photography.

I love Granville Island for wedding pictures, there is such an array of different places to take pictures there that you get a good variety in style. |

The reception really reflected the couples taste. They are so fun and happy. It was perfect. |
The dessert table, one of two was a huge hit. The cake and cupcakes were from Anna Elizabeth Cakes. The Second sweet table had homemade treats from the bride herself and other family members.
Katy and Patricks wedding day was simply stunning, mostly because it refelected exactly who they were, a fun, outgoing and incredibly happy and in love couple! I loved helping Katy plan her dream day with out breaking the bank! Katy was able to have everything she wanted, from a custom gown, open bar and limo, to a fancy church and gorgeous florals, all for under $15,000.00.
Thank you again Katy & Patrick for allowing me to be a part of your day.
All the best!
